Kidult – Visual Dictatorship
I’m a big fan of Kidult and those who use art as a medium to spread there messages. Which is one of the biggest purposes of graffiti. Writing messages on the wall for the entire world to see in an artistic fashion! In this video he speaks on how the use of graffiti being used in high-fashion is completely undermining and disgraceful tho the street culture. This which ties into the bigger picture of how big corporations benefit off our culture while ignoring the darkest parts which they are also profiting from at the same time.
Kidult x Fool’s Gold Tee Shirt limited to 72 total were given away to the crowd at the HARD Summer Festival in LA.
Is Kidult going mainstream? I dunno, but these shirts are pretty dope and I’m a huge fan of Fools Gold. Shoutout to Kidult for this dope colab.
Marc Jacobs x Kidult ‘Art by Art Jacobs’ T-Shirt available at the Marc Jacobs store in SOHO, New York.
So the other day the infamous Kidult hit up the Marc Jacobs store in New York. The news hit every blogs as everybody assumed that Kidult had bombed another iconic store, but it turns out that it was all just a marketing scheme. I’m a huge fan of both artists, it’s really dope to see the two link up to produce a such clever idea.
